Alliance plans further $46m expansion at Ripon plant

19 November 2013

Alliance Laundry Systems is planning a US$46million expansion to add 106,000 square feet (9,848square metres) to its manufacturing and assembly plant in Ripon, Wisconsin. The announcement comes less than two months after completing a US$25million production capacity increase.

The project received the final company go-ahead after reaching agreements with its union, the City of Ripon and Fond du Lac County. Construction is expected to start in February 2014 and the extra production capacity should be available in the second half of 2015.

The additional capacity will result in 150 extra jobs, mainly in production but also including some office staff. The hiring process has already begun although most of the production staff will be engaged during 2015,
"Alliance makes the most reliable and durable laundry equipment available, and demand for our products keeps growing, both in the U.S. and overseas," said Mike Schoeb, Alliance Laundry president and CEO.
