Animal stations rely on JLA

JLA has supplied a number of Workhorse Maytag washers and dryers to RSPCA stations around the country to help the animal centres keep pace with their extremely heavy laundry throughput.

Chris Flood, speaking from the RSPCA’s Braintree station, said: “Bedding can be changed up to three times a day when the accident intake is high. The RSPCA needs laundry equipment that it can rely on to ensure a supply of vet bedding. With JLA we don’t have to worry about it at all—if anything were to go wrong, we’d be up and running again within 24 hours. ” JLA says its robust Maytag commercial washers and dryers are amongst the most efficient available. Energy savings are particularly high and, when compared to domestic machines with their much lower capacities, the reduced number of loads required makes cost savings even greater.

JLA machines are much less labour intensive than many other commercial machines, have cycles designed to ensure that the washer and dryer work in harmony, and user-friendly controls are designed for continuous use in particularly demanding environments.

In addition, the JLA fixed-price Total Care Programme option provides service seven days a week, 364 days a year, with all parts and labour included in the original contract. With no initial capital outlay, the fixed price guarantees no unexpected high bills.
