He will continue to be responsible for the Apparelmaster division, the group's UK textile rental division.
Mr Toon joined the Johnson Group in 2000 and, before becoming Apparelmaster managing director in October 2002, had headed up CCM the group's garment manufacturing and sourcing company.
He has been associated with the industry since 1983, having worked for various garment suppliers.
