Award for outstanding contribution

GERMANY
Prof. Dr. Josef Kurz from the Hohenstein Institute in Germany received the WRP Star industry trophy in recognition of his life's work. The award was made by "Wascherei + Reinigungspraxis" publisher Michael Steinert during last month's Texcare Forum at the Frankfurt show.
Speaker Martin Kannegiesser, managing director of Herbert Kannegiesser, praised his outstanding contribution to the industry.
As the scientific director of the Chemical Cleaning research centre, Josef Kurz has made a significant contribution to the development of alternative solvents and optimised cleaning technologies. The available knowledge has enabled the Hohenstein Institute to become a leading research institute with regard to environmentally friendly cleaning processes.
