Böwe completes its relaunch jigsaw

1 June 1999

The final stage in the relaunch of Böwe Garment Care Systems (UK) has been completed with the company’s recent move to new premises in Wooburn Green in High Wycombe, Bucks.

“The last piece of the jigsaw is now in place,” says joint managing director, Ian Hearle. “The relocation completes the restructuring of Böwe in the UK, which has seen the sale of the former laundry division, an MBO by the former service arm to form Permac Technical Services, and, of course, the change in our name to more accurately reflect what the company is about—supplying everything from a drycleaning machine to a safety pin, and having a complete after-sales support infrastructure.

“From the new building we can look forward to a structured, secure and successful future. An administrative computerisation upgrade through a Windows-led system and a building more closely suited to our requirements, will contribute to ensuring better access to information and greater efficiency to service our customers needs.

“We would like to thank our customers for their support through the re-structure,” he concluded, “and look forward to welcoming them to the new company.”
