WALES: Members of the Welsh Women's Rugby Union team form a happy huddle to celebrate the recent sponsorships deal signed with the PHS Group.
Under the deal, the biggest signed in women's and girl's rugby, PHS has contributed £16,000, which will be complemented by £15,000 from the Sports Council For Wales.
PHS is a particularly apt sponsor for the Welsh Women team. Not only is its headquarters based in Wales, but women form 53% of its workforce and more unusually 40% of its directors. The group also has a personal connection (male this time), as Gareth Kear of PHS telesales is the national team manager with WWR.
