As chairman Matthew Barker will oversee the development of the industry across the UK, and strive to deliver improved services to TSA members. This will involve liaison with the government regarding concerns about legislative and work to strengthen the industry's current code of practice with the Office of Fair Trading.
“Being appointed as chairman is a great honour, and a reflection of Barker Group's dedication to working with others in the industry to ensure continual improvements within the industry,” said Barker.
“As chairman, I will encourage the continued development of the professional drycleaning industry, and work to generate increased awareness of industry-related issues."
