Staff from the National Blood Service recently donned their first ever national uniform. Supplied by Sugdens/Thread Needle, the launch of the new corporate wardrobe took place at the Stanley Methodist Church Hall in Wakefield.
The new range of garments is said to be stylish and in keeping with the present trend of portraying a less formal look in the workplace. Being purposely designed to offer wearer comfort as well as presenting a professional and caring image, all 18 items create a consistent corporate image for men and women.
All are said to be fit-for-purpose from the cold and wet weather protective gear—in navy, lined with red—to the more familiar healthcare garments—in shades of blue and navy. Staff will be allowed an element of personal choice from within the range.
