The initiative, operated by the anti-poverty charity, benefits from the invaluable expertise, goods and support of retailers including Richard Haworth, and third sector partners across Greater Manchester. The linen manufacturer supported the launch with a donation of over £14,000 of brand new bed linens, towels and bedding.

With donations of money, logistics expertise and surplus goods, the ‘multibank’ is families - with essential items and the brand new goods redistributed to families free of charge.

Raj said: “It was an honour to attend the launch of such an important initiative. At a time when so many are struggling with the cost of living, we look forward to continuing to support The Brick-by-Brick Project in 2023 and beyond.”

Richard Haworth’s range of bed, bath and table linens are created using the highest quality fabric and are used by some of the most prestigious hotels, restaurants and spas across the country.

The Brick has been launched following the success of the pioneering Big Hoose project in Aberdeen, also supported by Gordon Brown and reported on by LCN last month. The TSA pledged its support for the project.
