A new shoe repair machine has meant a major step forward for a Bristol drycleaning outlet.
“The new machine,” said Colin Nash, proprietor of Priority Drycleaning, “is cleaner, quicker and easy to use and has significantly improved the quality of the service we can offer.”
“Initial response has been so good since we got the new machine, that even our competitors have been making a beeline for us to find out what it’s all about.”
Since acquiring the premises in Redcliffe Hill about 18 months ago, Mr Nash has established a one stop shop for cleaning, key cutting, shoe repairs and photo developing.
Shoe repairing before was done using a very old machine, inherited from a friend, until Mr Nash bought Standard Engineering’s new streamlined Puma compact finisher. With a footprint of 0.6 square metres, the Puma is specifically designed to make the most of expensive retail space.
“The Puma is half the size of the old machine. So we’ve not only improved what we can offer, but we’ve gained space as well,” commented Mr Nash.
