GERMANY
Christopher Veit has become vice president of Veit, a leading manufacturer of ironing equipment for the textile care industry, and is now in charge of global manufacturing, research and development and human resources.

He is the third generation of his family to join the business, following his father, Veit president Günter Veit and company founder, Reinhardt Veit.

Christopher Veit managed the group's Chinese subsidiary from 2012 to 2015. Now working alongside his father, he will be responsible for updating the corporate planning process and will also be looking at the core production processes at the Veit's factory in Landsberg and at ways of developing its future product portfolio.

Setting out the company's R&D goals, he said: "Our focus is on our customers' requirements. We are dedicated to improving the performance, application quality, sustainability and industry readiness of our machines."
