Freedom Systems will be exhibiting its next generation card system for launderettes.
The company has been a pioneer of card systems in the apartment laundry sector and has installed over 1000 magnetic strip systems, all of which can be controlled from a central location using the remote-control Windows software package. The system also provides comprehensive laundry room reports.
Freedom attributes its success to two factors. First, it has been successful in keeping card costs at a minimum by using a low cost-magnetic strip card (a fifth of the cost of a smart card). The system can also accept (along with cash) cards such as ATM, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. To further reduce card expenses, any credit or ATM card user needs no secondary card to use the system.
