1 June 2001

The German laundry machine manufacturer Stahl has expanded its operation and is now preparing to enter the US market by making its first appearance at the New Orleans show.

Export manager Uwe Stahl also hopes to attract distributors from a few other countries, as the company wants to build on its activity in global markets. The family-owned enterprise offers potential business partners one of the most extensive product ranges in the industry.

It includes washer-extractors in various sizes and with various revolution speeds. For example, the Atoll range comprises seven different machines with load capacities of 8, 10, 12, 14, 19, 22 and 35kg.

Stahl can also offer washer-extractors designed for barrier installation, and these machines, known as Divimat, are available in capacities of 14, 25, 35, 50 and 68kg .

The matching drying tumblers are produced with the load capacities of 10, 14, 16, 25, 35 and 50kg.

In addition the company produces hydro-extractors in load capacities of 9, 15, 20, and 30kg.

Stahl flatwork ironers are particularly impressive. These are of heated bed construction and are offered in roll diameters of 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 and 120cm. For roll diameters of 50cm and more, the ironers are also offered as high performance machines (Power Twin and Power Star) with two or three rolls. Depending on the type of ironer and its roll diameter, the machines can be supplied in ten working widths from 1.0m to 3.3m.

Stahl believes that its impressive range should interest the American market, especially since all of these machines bear the label “Made in Germany” which to this day is a mark of excellence.
