3 February 2006

In addition to showing the latest products and services from over 100 exhibitors, the show puts an emphasis on the importance of education in the current economic environment with a series of free daily seminars.

On Friday the talks include Terry Shoreman and Tom Storm of Washing Systems on washroom and wastewater treatment trends, TRSA's Roger Cocivera on the state of the linen supply economy, and Rocco Romeo of Healthcare Linen Services on converting diposables to reusables.

The second day's seminars start with Maria Mascall, water efficiency co-ordinator of the City of Toronto who explains the cash incentives offered to high efficiency laundries. The IFI's Bill Fisher asks what drycleaners can do to survive a tough future, and Dan Goldman of Wascomat USA and Alexander Seitz of Seitz GmbH tell drycleaners "Everything you need to know about wetcleaning".

On the closing day Wesley Nelson of Sankosha USA talks about trends in garment finishing and Steve Bowman of SailStar USA looks at C02 drycleaning.
