Competing with top five laundries

8 February 2001

The National Laundry Partnership (NLP) was recently launched to represent independent laundry owners in the UK.

John Shonfeld (Coverstyle, Holmfirth) is chairman, Mike Kemp and Trevor Carter (Bentleys, Doncaster) are director and treasurer respectively.

Twenty laundries employing more than a 1000 have shown interest in the organisation.

The NLP will use the combined purchasing power of its members to cut their internal costs and will compete for national contracts by providing a personal service with consistent quality across its member companies.
