Sue has worked in B2B publishing throughout her career. She joined Power Laundry and Cleaning News, the forerunner to Laundry and Cleaning News in 1977, after working with EMAP (East Midlands Allied Press) for two years.
Commenting on her career, Sue says that the textile care industry is as friendly today as when she first entered it back in 1977.
She adds: The opportunity to travel to various overseas exhibitions, and attend so many industry functions in the UK has been a great bonus and has allowed me to meet many of the people I deal with daily. The industry is well and truly in my blood and I have been fortunate to have such a varied job.
