Consolidated Laundry Machinery acquired by CCP

27 May 2010

CLM, which was founded in 1962, is a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade dryers and finishing equipment, primarily serving the textile services industry.

Bernstein is now retiring as the company's most senior executive but will remain as a consultant. In a statement on 17 May, CCP announced that Carolyn Landsperg, vice president and general manager of CLM, would succeed Bernstein.

David Smith will join the company as its director of sales. He has worked in the laundry equipment sector for 25 years, spending most of his career with Washex and Challenge industries.

CCP's principal Jason Farber said that his company was pleased to be able give CLM the resources it need to achieve “meaningful growth” and improve its services to customers. The company had an excellent reputation and CCP wanted to build on that.
