CTL tests “stuffer”

27 January 1999

Cleaning Tokens is working with 24 of its member cleaners to test a new idea for generating leads for foward-thinking drycleaners.

Printed in CTL’s distinctive blue colour and similar in size and shape to a book-mark, the Pocket Stuffer gives details about cleaning tokens on its front and on its reverse allows the customer to request information.

The Pocket Stuffers will be placed by the cleaners into the pockets of garments between cleaning and bagging.

The owner of the garment will have to remove the Pocket Stuffer before wearing the item of clothing. The test begins in the middle of February.

Participating cleaners will receive a box of Thorntons chocolates to thank them for their involvement, and will also qualify for CTL’s Incentive Scheme rewards for any leads they generate.
