Danish royal couple visit Mascot's Vietnamese factory

18 November 2009

”Vietnam has developed into a really good country to invest in,” Mascot MD Michael Grosbøl told the royal couple, who were accompanied by a large delegation from the Danish business community and the Danish Trade Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He added that close co-operation with the Danish Embassy in Hanoi and Denmark's Trade Council had led to Mascot becoming the first foreign company to be licensed to have its own bonded warehouse with built-in quality control of raw materials.

The 15,000m2 Vietnamese factory employs 700 people and houses a sewing studio, quilt production and a raw material warehouse and an administration department.
