The Danube business, which will cover the brand's full range, will be managed by Spencer Wallace, recently Gillman's recently appointed head of commercial sales. He will be seeking partners to handle the Danube brand in exclusive territories around the UK
Stocks of the Danube range are due to arrive at Gillman's Gloucester distribution centre this month (February 2008).
The company says that it will ensure it always has full stocks of models and spares, and has its own transport fleet to provide prompt delivery - next day delivery is promised for most spares.
It will also be organising training courses for its customers' service engineers.
