Electrolux Professional has appointed former national sales manager Darren Lockley as its head of region for the UK & Ireland. He takes over the post formerly held by Doug Walker, who was recently promoted to head of Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
Lockley has been with Electrolux for seven years and takes up the role with immediate effect. As head of region, he will be responsible for the complete Professional laundry and foodservice sales teams in the UK and Ireland.
Philippe Zavattiero, senior vice president commercial organisation Western Europe at Electrolux Professional, believes the company has found someone with the right qualities and strong management skills. He said: "This appointment will further help to strengthen the two divisions of Electrolux Professional in the UK & Ireland and continue to push the business in the right direction."
