In a pre-close trading statement issued on 26 June 2009, the laundry and workwear company said its trading remained resilient and that it continued to pursue cost-cutting measures.
However, the company said lower volumes continue to affect its hotel businesses and both textile maintenance and direct sales operations in Sweden.
"We are making the expected improvements in profitability in German healthcare although that market remains difficult," the company said.
