When the Central Launderette opened in Dudley using Electrolux Laundry System’s Emerald washers customers found they could choose different wash programs from seven machines of various sizes with seven tumble dryers.
Owner, Mr Jagdish Singh says the 50lb machine is popular with customers for washing duvets and all washers have seven wash cycles to choose from.
Owners can change prices for the coin-operated machines, setting cheaper rates to be offered during the normally quiet periods and to increase margins for the busy periods. The picture shows Mr Singh and Trevor Benton from Electrolux at the Dudley launderette.
