DLI launches video contest to promote drycleaning

16 December 2013

The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is offering a $5,000 cash prize for the video that best demonstrates or promotes the use of DLI member services.
DLI has launched the project to gather ideas to help drycleaners promote their services more effectively. The contest is open to all drycleaners and also to consumers and industry organisations.
Videos should run for a maximum of two minutes and should show the advantages of using professional drycleaning services. They must not promote a particular company. All entries must be received by 1 April 2014 and the winner will be announced by 23 June 2014.
Dave Beatty, owner of Murrysville Cleaners and director of DLI district 2 said: "We think we know why a consumer should bring a pair of pants they can clean at home to us, but we're certain to get a great many ideas from this project."
Full rules are available on the DLI website www.dlionline.org/contest.
