Dormer helps customers to beat the recession

Expert speakers from the fields of insurance, accountancy and health and safety provided insights into how best to reduce costs while also minimising risks.

Dormer also launched several products aimed at giving cleaners the opportunity to increase their turnover and expand their services.

The Rug Doctor generated a great deal of interest, as it allows drycleaners to provide a carpet cleaning hire service with very little outlay. In return for a percentage of the hire fee, Dormer provides the drycleaner with the equipment, point of sale merchandising and servicing support.

Peter Corrigan, Dormer sales director said: “We are delighted with the interest in the Rug Doctor. It is a simple system and our customers can expand their turnover without having to even buy or maintain a machine.”
