DuPont Industrial Biosciences has announced its collaboration with Chinese sports brand Anta in the design of champion uniforms for Chinese Olympic team members using DuPont Sorona – a sustainable, patented fibre made with renewable, plant-based ingredients.

Sorona fibres, which are said to be soft, extremely durable and have excellent stretch and recovery, will be a key ingredient in the Chinese team’s “Dragon” uniform at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Anta Sports has been an official partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee, collaborating with the Chinese sports delegations at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, London 2012 Olympic Games and more than 30 other international competitions.
