Designed by the European Chemical Industry Council, “SQAS: Driving excellence in safe and sustainable chemical logistics" can be used to evaluate the performance of logistics service providers and chemical distributors.
Each assessment is based upon a standardised questionnaire. While the SQAS assessment does not lead to a certificate, a detailed report is provided that allows each chemical company to evaluate and adapt its quality and safety standards where necessary.
All ECSA member companies actively support SQAS and the system allows them to ensure the safe transport, storage and distribution of their products along the supply chain.
