ETRA focuses on systems’ value

7 April 1998

The European Textile Rental Association is to stress to the European Commission the value, in terms of hygiene, of managed workwear systems.

The Commission is preparing a Directive concerned with animal origin foodstuffs processing and packing hygiene and has asked the ETRA to prepare a draft document relating to the provision of managed workwear.

This follows an approach made by the ETRA to the Commission on the subject.

The ETRA represents national textile care associations in Europe and these organisations, in turn, represent some 800 laundry plants.
