Total turnover of European Textile Services Association members in 2015 was €5, 921million, a 5.1% increase from 2014 (€5,634m).
The latest textile services market survey was released by ETSA on 1 July and covers the EU 28, as well as Switzerland and Norway.
All sectors increased: workwear and PPE rose by 5.4% to €2,289m; hotels and restaurants by 8.6% to €1,071m; healthcare & elderly care by 4.8% to €942m; washroom services by 1.8% to €810m; and dust control mats, mops and wipers by 2.6% to €760m.
