EU textile industry must look to new technologies

Speaking at an industry conference entitled “European Fashion and Innovation in tandem with EU values - A Win-Win Formula” in Milan on February 15, he said that Europe must ally its world-wide leadership in fashion with the use of new technologies to create innovative products serving the healthcare sectors and addressing concerns in transport, building and energy conservation.
