Gallet took over responsibilities from the previous manager, Wolfgang Marquardt, on 1 July. Marquardt is leaving ECSA at the end of July to pursue career opportunities in his homeland of Germany.
Gallet joined the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) in 2007 as technical counsellor for the fine, specialty and consumer chemicals sector group.
