The organiser for Expo Detergo reports that over 200 companies have already booked space for the 2014 show, which will take place at the Fiera Milano from 3 to 6 October.
Luciano Miotto, president of Expo Detergo International, says the event will take place in a turning point year for European laundry services. He adds that the last show (2010) took place in the midst of the economic crisis. "Now we are already in the post-crisis period and companies are determined to regain their market share and are investing in innovation."
To date, exhibitors from outside Italy represent a third of the total. Confirmed bookings, in addition to those from the home market, include companies from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, USA, UK, Switzerland, Turkey and Hungary. This underlines the event's importance for the international market.
