Floringo cottons onto healthcare

1 June 1999

Floringo, the contract and towelling robe supplier, has moved into the healthcare market by signing up to supply Trinity Care, a leading nursing home group in South Yorkshire.

The contract covers Trinity’s existing homes and a new home to open this year. Floringo will be supplying Trinity with bath and hand towels in cream, blue and pink. The towels are made in Turkey, a country famous for its high quality cotton yarn. They are said to be ideal for healthcare institutions which require a long-lasting high quality, soft-textured product.

Des Johnson, Floringo’s managing director, said that the company was already involved in allied markets and the Trinity contract was a natural extension of the company’s business.

Floringo has established itself as a leading UK supplier to the hotel and laundry sectors and has also moved into markets in the Far East, Middle East and Continental Europe.
