FTN awards recognise innovation and energy savings

7 January 2014

The Federation Textile Management Netherlands (FTN) has presented awards to two laundries, Lavans in Helmond and Synergy Health in Bergen op Zoom.
The Lavans Laundry won FTN's first innovation award, which has been introduced to increase awareness of innovation across the textile industry and especially the part it plays in the professional textile care sector. It recognises Lavans' innovations in management, service and representation.
Synergy Health from Bergen op Zoom won the FTN Energy Award, which looks at innovation in achieving energy savings and relates to the European LTA-3 (Long-term Agreement Energy Efficiency) that aims for far-reaching energy savings in the industry and related sectors.
The awards were presented at FTN's eight annual national symposium on textile management.
