Gas savings at Soap and Suds

27 January 2000

Successful launderette company Soap and Suds has cut its gas bills by upgrading the Loadstar dryers at its Stroud branch.

The new generation Loadstars, supplied by Armstrong Commercial Laundry, claim a considerable reduction in gas use over previous models. Soaps and Suds owner David Wickens is seeing savings of 40 percent.

The machines find favour with customers too as they dry much faster. The electronic £1.20 coin mechanisms are totally reliable and give the company extra flexibility.
