Guide will help hotel laundries to keep the ironer running smoothly

27 February 2014

Tingue, Brown and Co has introduced a guide to help hotel on-site laundries run their ironer more efficiently.

It covers both cylinder and deep-chest ironers and explains how to obtain a high quality finish while still being cost-effective. It answers frequently asked questions about safety, cleaning and maintenance and also about causes of problems such as wrinkled, marked or scorched linen.

The guide also gives a checklist of products that hotel laundries should have readily available to ensure non-stop operation.

Tingue, Brown also offers to conduct free ironer condition surveys and to train operators in on-site preventative maintenance.
