Guild conference reaches for the stars

The weekend opens with the President's reception and dinner-dance, but responding to the views of delegates at last year's conference, the business programme will be reserved for the Sunday and will start, slightly later than usual, at 10am.

A speaker from Marks and Spencers' has been promised, but details have not been finalised.

Other speakers are: Costas Kyriakou, of Mackenzies drycleaners, "A star in our midst".

Ian Goldstein of VSL, "Star wars".

Ian Parris, of Parrisianne " A five-star drycleaning machine for the future".

Ron Davidson, Stars of the future in the laundry industry".

Adrian Redgate, The Guild IT officer, - "An update on the star website".

Peter Tuppen, of Spencers Drycleaners, Seeing stars VAT'll be the day".
