The Guild of Cleaners and Launderers will hold its Professional Clothes Care conference and exhibition at the Belfry Hotel in Nottingham on Sunday 23 February 2014.
The exhibition opens at 9.00 with the conference starting at 10.00. Following Guild president Archie Kerr's opening address, Marco Boccola of Ilsa will present a global view of the Professional Clothes Care industry.
Two speakers then discuss the business side of a drycleaning operation. Jon Wozniak, from the Bluefin Insurance Group, will explain the role that insurance plays, while Rosie Aikenhead of Yelp discusses how businesses can use social media to their best advantage.
The afternoon session looks at the practical aspects. After Roger Cawood of SDML will demonstrate spotting techniques, and Colin Paterson of Total Fabric Solutions looks at ways of dealing with customer complaints.
Jonty Wilson, Consumer Testing Services gives the closing address.
