The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC), a non-profit organisation for inspecting and accrediting laundries serving hospitals and healthcare businesses, has elected three new members to its board for 2016.
They are Charles Berge, president and general manager of Shared Hospital Services, Portsmouth, Virginia; Nicole Grubich, executive director of West Michigan Shared Hospital Laundry (WMSHL); and Carol McLay, international consultant. They will serve on HLAC's board for a three-year term beginning this year.
HLAC's mission is to publish high standards for processing healthcare textiles in laundries and to recognise those laundries that meet them.
