This is the Institute’s third contact point in India as it already has similar offices in Mumbai and Tirupur.
By extending its representation in India, the Hohenstein Institute is responding to the increasing demand for independent quality testing that comes both from Indian textile and clothing manufacturers and their European customers.
The full range of Hohenstein services will be available via the Indian offices but laboratory testing will remain in Europe. All three offices will also be the official contacts for the International Oeko-Tex Association and will focus on the certifying of textiles to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
