Hohenstein names award winner for entrepreneurial excellence

3 June 2010

Ursula Plassnik, the Austrian National Assembly member and former Minister for European and International Affairs, will present the award on 9 June 2010.

The non-endowed award was created in 2007 and is intended both to recognise individuals and to build public awareness of the importance of textile rental services. The jury for the 2010 award included the award's founder and Hohenstein Institute director Stefan Mecheels, Josef Kurz and previous award winners.

In selecting the 2010 winner, the jury looked at the candidates' strategic vision, their success in business and the way in which they approached their responsibility for their employees.
