The purpose will be to develop a strategy and unite the industry in defence of all solvents used in drycleaning, according to IFI chief executive Bill Fisher. “As an industry, we cannot afford to sit on the sidelines as the government scrutinises and picks us apart. This meeting will focus on solutions and how we can ensure the survival of all aspects of our industry.”
The summit will coincide with the end of the California Cleaners Association's Fabricare trade show and convention, and will include allied trades representatives, Korean representatives, franchise companies and operating plant owners.
