Redfearns Wire Products has received accreditation under the Investors in People initiative for its production facilities in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, where it makes wire coathangers for the laundry and drycleaning industry.
Investors in People enables organisations to support their workforces with the necessary training to achieve their potential—in many cases to NVQ level. Redfearns says that it has already seen improved understanding and communication between management and the workforce.
At Redfearns, the Investors in People framework has been integrated into the existing quality systems. Everyone contributes to a core of commercial information that is used to feed decisions.
