Johnson Cleaners named in Best Green Companies list

Johnson Cleaners further reduced its carbon footprint by 10%, reduced its plastic hanger usage by a further 18% and had 160,000 people subscribe to its “Go Paper Free” programme in the past 12 months.

The company is also continuing with its £6million programme to convert all 500 branches in England, Scotland and Wales to eco-friendly GreenEarth cleaning technology by 2012.

Paul Ogle, Johnson Cleaners managing director, said: “To be named for the second consecutive year in the Sunday Times top 60 Best Green Companies is a fantastic achievement and is a testament to how seriously we take our environmental responsibilities.”
