Johnsons Cleaners opens at flagship Waitrose store

4 June 2014

Johnsons Cleaners has teamed up with Waitrose to provide a drop-off and collection service at the Welcome Desk in the refurbished flagship store in Bracknell, Berkshire.

This will be one of the first Waitrose branches to offer this service, which will include not only drycleaning with GreenEarth® but also allow customers to bring in work for Johnsons Cleaners' laundry, curtain cleaning and duvet services. Suede and leather care will also be available.

Waitrose branch manager, Graham Oakley, said the arrangement allowed the store to respond to countless requests for a drycleaning service and can now offer its customers' greater convenience.

Johnson Cleaners managing director Paul Ogle said that the company was proud of its relationship with Waitrose, which had been developed over ten years. Putting the customer and service first was important to Johnsons Cleaners and this initiative supports that view. He added that the arrangement was a good fit for both parties in presenting their credentials as greener retailers.
