Jumeirah Emirates Towers opts for GreenEarth

17 January 2014

The Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai has converted its drycleaning operation to use the GreenEarth Cleaning system. The change is in line with Jumeirah's corporate goal of sustainable tourism.

The retail drycleaning business is situated between the two towers on the hotel site. It serves, guests, professional clients in the business centre and employees and all work is processed on site.

The conversion was carried out after a number of health and safety concerns prompted the property to search for an alternative to perc. Nizar Al Mohammad, laundry manager at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers said: "We are excited about the change as it will make for a much more pleasant work environment for our employees who can be assured that working with GreenEarth poses no risk to their health or safety.

The 400-room hotel, which opened in 2000, has won the Business Traveller Awards: Best Business Hotel in the Middle East for the past nine years. The site includes, two towers, a hotel, a business centre and the drycleaning unit.
