The Ducker name will remain and the company will continue to operate from its bases in Banbury and Kendal, but the German ownership will strengthen Ducker's ability to support its UK and Irish markets. Chris Ducker will remain in an advisory role.
As a result of the purchase, Kannegiesser will take ownership of the Supertrack monorail system and other Ducker products, providing long-term security for these products, demonstrating Kannegiesser's commitment to the industry.
Chris Ducker retains the Thermopatch sales division which is not included in the deal.
