Doncaster-based business KSM Dry Cleaners continues towards making its cleaning operations more environmentally friendly with the purchase of new wetcleaning machines from Electrolux Professional.
Founded in 1974, KSM Dry Cleaners has provided high-quality drycleaning in Doncaster and much of South Yorkshire. Asuquo Asuquo purchased the business around two years ago. Asuquo boasts a long history of working within the industry and plans to expand KSM Dry Cleaners across the UK with the help of specialist agents.
The business replaced its old drycleaning machine with wetcleaning machines from Electrolux in June. As well as being much more eco-friendly than the machines they replaced, the new wet cleaning systems are able to process more laundry loads every day and achieve a deep clean that is virtually unrivalled, said Asuquo. “The replacement of the old dry cleaners has been an absolute game-changer for us as a business. The new system is much more cost-effective as it is cheaper to operate, can process more laundry load at one time, and can even accommodate large items such as duvets. Indeed, this has allowed us to expand our offering to customers.”?
As well as using much more energy-efficient machines, the company is looking to eliminate its use of plastic by swapping traditional drycleaning covers with breathable and eco-friendly alternatives that customers can reuse.?
