Lapauw installs gas-heated ironers

The first was at the Meuse and Ardennes laundry in Belgium, followed by a second in the Netherlands, where Lapauw’s agents installed the machine at the De Valks Katwouden site. At this site, the ironer is running at 21m/min.

The 4000XXL has a roll diameter of 1,600mm and a 4m ironing width.

The company is also introducing a gas-heated version of its standard 1,600mm roll diameter ironer, said Dominique Lapauw.

The gas-heated versions of both the 1,600mm roll diameter and the 4000XXL ironers will be equipped with a modulating gas burner and B&R control system to provide energy savings.

Dominique Lapauw added: “We provide real-time data on energy consumption, that can be fed immediately into the accounting department enabling customer- or batch-based pricing, something that is requested more and more often.”
