The laundry sector will be strongly represented at the C.M.S. (Cleaning.Management.Services.) Berlin 2017, the international trade fair for cleaning systems, building management and services, which takes place at Messe Berlin from 19 to 22 September this year.

The care of cleaning textiles has a vital role to play in all aspects of cleaning and hygiene, say the show organisers. Several exhibitors at CMS Berlin 2017 will demonstrate how the expert washing of cleaning textiles involves a perfect interaction between machines and detergents.

Miele Professional is presenting its entire portfolio of machines for everyday work in the building cleaning field at CMS 2017, in particular, washing machines for mops and wiping cloths, said Martin Hübner, head of the Professional Division of Miele Marketing in Germany. “With many decades of experience in the commercial laundry sector, Miele is the highly qualified contact partner for building cleaning companies that wish to monitor the quality and costs of hygienically clean mops and wiping cloths themselves,” he said. “Moreover, its needs-based leasing and rental concept facilitates decisions about acquiring the latest technology.”

Andy Schröder, Electrolux Professional, segment manager said: “Electrolux is the world’s No. 1 in the field of professional laundry systems, as well as the only supplier offering not only laundry systems but also a complete range of large-scale kitchen solutions for market players in facility management. CMS gives us the opportunity to present our building cleaning and catering customers with a complete range of solutions. Furthermore we can also provide our customers with details about the capabilities of Electrolux Professional with regard to current trends in the facility management sector. In addition to cleaning companies in the building management sector, Electrolux Professional also successfully offers hygiene machinery solutions in the care segment (care and retirement homes), in hotels and laundries, as well as for specialised applications such as self service, workwear and working equipment (fire and rescue services) and wet cleaning.”

Uwe Rütjes, managing partner, of Schneidereit in Germany said: “In past years the laundry section at CMS has continually gained in importance, with the result that Schneidereit Professional finds that it provides the ideal platform for presenting its innovative washing concepts tailored to the needs of specific sectors, because we can offer all the providers of building services with the perfect solution for their sites, whether these are small key facilities, large industrial plants or hospitals with exacting hygiene requirements.”
